SevenSeas Music is currently mixing the first lp release on our label for the talented band JazzKamikaze. This upcoming lp entitled “Silence In The Tempest” will be the culmination of months of work in and out of the studio.

SevenSeas Music second signing is the talented and beautiful artist Asia. Asia is currently writing and in production for her upcoming release slated for the end of 2009.

NEW YORK — August 26, 2008: The world is rushing head-first into the future – now we have an official soundtrack to take us along for the ride. European collective JazzKamikaze has been taking large crowds further, faster and deeper with its own adrenaline-spiked blend of rock, funk, jazz and hip hop practically from the moment they formed in 2005. With the thoughts of Fall stirring in 2008, an upcoming album and multi-national tour prove that the best of JazzKamikaze is yet to come.

JazzKamikaze’s first wave of fans were routinely mesmerized by speed feats demonstrated by wunderkind saxophonist Marius Neset, it soon became apparent that the entire group had the agility to keep up – and go far beyond jazz in the process. Transcending styles, JazzKamikaze became known for creating energetic musical universes where rhythm and groove always rule.
